liberty and war poster
Liberty and War - An appropriated propaganda poster showing my interpretation of the change in iconic representation that America has undergone during the bush administration
growth manifesto poster
Another Bruce Mau Manifesto inspired poster. “Good is a known quantity. Good is what we all agree on. Growth is not necessarily good. Growth is an exploration of unlit recesses that may or may not yield to our research. As long as you stick to good you’ll never have real growth.”
Stick to good and you are stabilizing the wrong foundation roots as a designer. Explore the scary and the unfamiliar. Make mistakes and grow from the experience.
Capture Accidents
Another Bruce Mau Manifesto Inspired poster.
The wrong answer is the right answer in search of a different question. Collect wrong answers as part of the process. Ask different questions.
Primary color is beautiful cyan. All graphical elements are generated via placement of layered type. The focal element of this piece I chose was a monkey, our not too distant mischievous relative. A species that for the most part will enable themselves by learning from the accidents they make in order to better themselves and their situation.
A task all designers should take to heart when knee deep in solving those visual problems.
